Product Conformance and Variability
Reduction
This customer was challenged with a
process that just did not seem to be able to create consistently good
product. A Process Intellect system was put on-line to predict
product quality ahead in time, then formulate recommended setpoints to
target product characteristics. The results speak for
themselves:

These results are depicted in the
product quality trend plot below. On the left is before the
Process Intellect implementation, on the right: after. You can
visually see the improvement as production variance is reduced and
centered on target.

after. The light blue is the distribution before, and the purple
is the distribution after Process Intellect came on-line.
